
There are about 170 cow vansh which include cows, bulls, and calves (male & female).

Breed
Mixed breed cows, but Desi (indigenous) cows Sahiwal, Rathi. Desi cows outnumber the HF (Holstein Friesian) and Jersey cows.
Bulls of Sahiwal and Gir breeds have been kept to improve future breeding.
Area
Gaushala in Rishi Colony, Charan is established on 2.70 acres of land which has been allocated by Dera Baba Ram Dass Ji Chaura.
Sheds / Infrastructure
- 3 covered cow sheds for cows, out of which 2 sheds have R.C.C. roofs.
- 1 shed for manure.
- 1 shed for green fodder in addition to a chaff-cutting R.C.C. roof hall.
- 1 shed for preparation of meals for Bhog ceremony.
- 3 open enclosures (wadas) for cows.
- 1 big godown for storage of tudi (wheat straw).
- 5 rooms for Gau Sevaks (servants).
- 1 room for veterinary care along with an injured cow lifter (Sikanja).

- 3 submersible motors.
- Tanks, drums and khurlis filled with water.

There is no ambulance for rescue of injured animals due to paucity of funds.
